India Post Goes Digital: West Bengal Circle Leaps Ahead with New APT Application Rollout

The new system will go live on July 15 and August 5, 2025, ushering in a smarter, faster, and more customer-friendly postal service.

To facilitate the transition, critical processes like data migration, system verification, and configuration will be carried out. As a result, no public transactions will take place on July 14 and August 4, 2025, in any post office under the West Bengal Circle.

The Chief Postmaster General of West Bengal Circle has confirmed that transformation work will be undertaken on July 15 and August 5. Apologizing for any inconvenience caused, the department has urged customers to plan their visits accordingly.

Describing the move as a “key milestone in the nation-building journey,” the Chief Postmaster General emphasized the department’s mission to deliver faster, reliable, and digitally empowered services to every citizen.
