They received a big round of applause for their performance. Soon the tiny tots completed their performance, and the secondary students began their presentation.

re

Their performance began by paying homage to the “Bidrohi Kobi”, Kazi Nazrul Islam. The students of the secondary section recited his well-known poem “Bidrohi”.

re

A dance was performed alongside the recital. The patriotic song Durgom Giri Kantar Moru was sung beautifully by the students. It reflects upon the struggles of the army and the hardships they had to encounter on their path.

Two dances that represented love for one's country and promoted Naya Bharat (The New India) followed this performance. The students from Class 12 then gave a quick presentation regarding India's participation at the G20 meeting, highlighting how this is a proud time for us Indians and a potent symbol of the nation's enormous growth since gaining its independence.

wr

The whole program came to an end with a heart-touching dance performance by two students of the BIMS College. Through this wonderful program, we can conclude that this day is not only a day of our freedom from oppression; it is a day when we learn to value our identity as Indians.

re

The day ended with the ‘One Child one Plant’ Campaign where saplings were distributed among all students and parents to fulfil the vision of a greener India. It is a day of great joy and excitement.

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan arranges such programs to cherish our national values and will surely continue to do so in the future. Jai Hind. Vande Mataram.
