Entry of goods vehicle to Kolkata through Kona Expressway restricted temporarily

By a staff reporter: Entry of goods vehicle to Kolkata through Kona Expressway will be shut down for two years and they will be diverted through Nivedita Setu.

According to dc traffic kolkata Srikant Jagannathrao, the goods vehicle will be allowed to ply from Kolkata through Kona Expresseay from 11 PM till 6 AM. They will not be allowed to take the Kona Expressway during the day. Goods vehicles carrying essential commodities and oil tankers are exempted and are allowed to use Kona Expressway on normal basis.
