ED approaches High Court

Kolkata: A new twist in the Sandeshkhali case. After the BJP, the ED has now approached the Calcutta High Court. A few days ago, some ED officials came under attack while conducting searches at the residence of TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh. One of the officers was hit in the head. A vehicle of a central agency was also vandalized. The ED has filed a case in the Calcutta High Court. Justice Joy Sengupta allowed the case to be filed. The hearing will be held on Thursday.
