Dinesh Trivedi is the BJP candidate for Rajya Sabha ?

By A Staff Reporter: Days after TMC announced their candidates for the vacant Rajya Sabha seats from West Bengal, BJP sources indicated that former railway minister Dinesh Trivedi might be the party nominee. With their respective strengths, TMC will be able to get six candidates elected to the Rajya Sabha. They have already named six candidates having dropped sitting members Shanta Chhetri and Sushmita Dev who had completed their terms. BJP by the the strength of current strength of legislators in the state assembly can get one nominee elected to the Rajya Sabha. ANM News have learnt that Dinesh Trivedi is the likely BJP candidate.
