In the contest, Snehashish Bhaumik and Pradeep Kumar Mukherjee received 579 and 630 votes, respectively, while businesswoman Kasturi Raha received 715. A week ago, TOI revealed that a female contender was running for the presidency. Raha had went for contest in 2021 but was unsuccessful.
