Union Minister Anurag Thakur arrived in the state on Saturday. Meanwhile, Anurag Thakur questioned the law and order situation in the state and attacked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Union Minister says, "Law and order has collapsed in the state under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee. As many as 57 people were killed in the violence during the panchayat polls.  Chief Minister, the hooliganism of TMC workers is going on at your behest.” He also says, "Going to Manipur is just a show-off of 'India' alliance MPs.  The opposition and its allies never spoke when Manipur was burning under their rule in the state. When they return from Manipur, I will request Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury to bring them to West Bengal. I want to ask Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, does he agree with the atrocities against women in the state? In Rajasthan, where murders and crimes against women are taking place, the opposition has not gone.
