By a Staff Reporter: Assembly elections in Karnataka on 10 May. Former Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar left the BJP in a big surprise before the assembly elections. He left BJP and joined Congress. He is contesting elections for Congress. Since then, Jagadish Shettar has been targeted by several central BJP leaders during the Karnataka assembly election campaign. Now Congress leader Jagadish Shettar opened up about joining the Congress. Jagadish Shettar said, "I feel comfortable working with Congress party hence joined Congress". On campaigning ahead of the assembly elections, he said, "Everyone is free to campaign. BJP is also free and Congress is also free to campaign".
