Before that, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi directly targeted the BJP government in Karnataka. "We are very optimistic and confident. The people of Karnataka want an end to corruption," she said. She aldso said that she could not say how many total numbers Congress will get. However, Priyanka Gandhi understands that Congress's victory in Karnataka is certain after seeing the response she has received from the public. It may be noted that Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi held a road-show in Bangalore's Vijayanagar on the last day of campaigning for the Karnataka assembly elections. From there, Priyanka Gandhi gave her victory message.
