When is Diwali? Find out the date

 Just a few days later, the entire country will be celebrating Diwali or Kali Puja. According to the Hindu calendar, Diwali is celebrated every year on the new moon day of Kartik month and this auspicious date falls on November 12. Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped on this day. According to religious beliefs, Goddess Lakshmi roams the earth at night on this day and Goddess Lakshmi lives in the house when she worships Maa Lakshmi at the auspicious time of Diwali.
