Zelensky visits flooded Kherson region

At least 600 square kilometres (232 square miles) of the Nova Kakhovska dam in Ukraine's southern Kharsan region has been flooded by a landslide.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The floods caused by the destruction of the Nova Kakhovka Dam have inundated large areas of the Kherson region. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy visited Kherson today after flooding flooded large areas. 

"A meeting was held, including the possibility of restoring the ecology of the Kherson region and the operational military situation in the man-made disaster area," Zelenskiy said. Relief for the flood-affected areas was discussed in the meeting. "

Zelenskiy visited a crossing point and met with rescuers to evacuate people from flooded areas.
