By A Staff Reporter: Is there a strategic understanding between Pakistani ISI spy agency and Bangladesh military? Has the interim government reached out to Pakistan to foment trouble in India? According to intelligence inputs and surveillance, Pakistani ISI chief Lt Gen Asim Malik met with senior officials of Bangladesh military and DGFI, the spy agency of the country.
Intelligence sources revealed several rounds of discussions took place about information gathering and sharing between the agencies of two countries. ANM News have learnt that activities of several underground organisations acting against interests of India were also discussed.

Sources mentioned discussions also centred around condoning the sentences of ULFA chief Paresh Barua and giving safe passages and shelter to ultras and operatives.
According to Intelligence agencies, Pakistani and Bangladeshi military officials also discussed several clandestine operations including turning a blind eye to arming of militants and passage of arms and ammunition. Incidentally, Bangladesh gained independence from Pakistan after a fierce liberation war fought in 1971 and since then successive governments have always been hostile towards them. Pakistan had raped, murdered, and tortured lakhs of Bangladeshi citizens.

India had provided shelter to lakhs of Bangladeshis who were on the run from marauding Pakistani army men. Ultimately, India defeated Pakistan and Bangladesh became an independent country. Now in an about turn, the interim government headed by Mohammed Yunus seems to be veering towards Pakistan.
