Washington: Margaret MacLeod, spokesperson for the US State Department, has underscored that the relationship between India and the United States extends far beyond the QUAD alliance. Speaking on the broader scope of bilateral ties, MacLeod highlighted that QUAD is a minilateral forum focusing on a specific region, but the India-US partnership encompasses a wide range of areas.
MacLeod detailed ongoing collaborations in critical emerging technologies, joint participation in Exercise Malabar, and efforts to strengthen people-to-people connections. She also noted investments in the education sector as key components of the growing relationship. "All these elements are contributing to the strengthening of our ties," MacLeod stated.
