US says North Korea leader expects to have arms meeting in Russia

The United States is concerned about North Korea's position in the War in Russia and Ukraine.



BY A STAFF REPORTER: The United States says North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is expected to discuss with Russian President Vladimir Putin about supplying Moscow with weapons for the War in Ukraine.

Last week, the White House warned that Russia was already in secret, active talks with North Korea for weapons and supplies for Moscow's war effort.

"We have publicly warned that arms talks between Russia and North Korea are actively progressing," National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said. We have information that Kim Jong Un expects these talks to continue, which will include leader-level diplomatic engagement in Russia. '
