"In light of the rapidly deteriorating humanitarian crisis in Sudan, Guterres is immediately sending Un Emergency Relief Coordinator Martin Griffiths to the region," Guterres' spokesman Stephane Dujarric said in a statement. "The scale and speed of what is happening in Sudan is unprecedented. We are very concerned. "
