Two people were injured in Ukrainian shelling and buildings were damaged in the Russian border area.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Two people were injured and several buildings, including a sugar factory, were damaged in Ukrainian shelling in the western Kursk region, regional governor Roman Starovet said.

"Ukraine has targeted three settlements in the border district of Glushkovsky. Two residents of the village of Glushkovo were injured in the shelling. Apart from sugar factories, several houses, shops and power lines were damaged in the strike. Parts of the targeted community have been left without power and repair crews are working to restore it. '

The Russian military fired back at Ukrainian military units, Starvoyte reported.
