Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, coinciding with a devastating missile strike in Ukraine. In a tweet, President Zelenskyy highlighted the tragic impact of the attack and expressed disappointment over PM Modi's engagement with President Putin.

"In Ukraine today, 37 people were killed and 170 were injured, as a result of Russia's brutal missile strike... It is a huge disappointment and a devastating blow to peace efforts to see the leader of the world's largest democracy hug the world's most bloody criminal in Moscow on such a day," tweeted President Zelenskyy.

PM Modi is currently on a two-day official visit to Russia, where he met with President Putin in Novo-Ogaryovo yesterday. The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations, but it has sparked controversy due to the timing of the meeting amidst ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
