Ukraine shoots down 36 of 43 Russian missiles

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ukraine's army chief says Ukraine's air defense forces shot down 36 of the 43 missiles fired by Russia on Thursday.

Valerie Zaluzhny, commander-in-chief of Ukraine's armed forces, said cruise missiles fired from aircraft in southern Russia were also constantly changing course. Russian forces have launched massive missile attacks on civilian infrastructure in several regions.

Ukrainian officials said at least seven people were wounded in air strikes in Kiev and three in Kharkiv. Meanwhile, at least two people were killed in the southern city of Kherson in Russian shelling.
