BY A STAFF REPORTER: Ukraine's military confirmed it hit a road bridge connecting Crimea and the Russian-occupied part of southern Ukraine on Sunday.

Ukraine's armed forces said ukraine hit two important routes of communication with Russia, the Chonhar bridge connecting the Kherson region to Crimea and a small bridge from the Ukrainian city of Henychesk to the peninsula.

The head of the Russian-appointed Kherson region has accused Ukraine of using British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles.
