In the wake of a tragic terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, that shook India and drew global attention, Councillor Mina Parmar—a Conservative Party leader from Harrow, UK—has issued a strong statement condemning the violence and calling for international unity against terrorism.
"The entire world should come together to condemn the horrible terrorist attack at Pahalgam in the state of Jammu and Kashmir," said Cllr Parmar, who serves as the Portfolio Holder for Housing.
Addressing the emotional toll on the British Hindu and Asian communities, Parmar stated, "The attack is devastating and saddens our community deeply. I offer my sincere prayers for the lost souls and their families. Our sympathy is with the people of India."
The attack, which targeted civilians and disrupted the peace in one of India’s most scenic and spiritually significant regions, has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice. Security forces have since intensified operations in the area.
Cllr Parmar’s message reflects a growing demand for global solidarity in the face of rising extremist threats. “There is no excuse for terror against humanity,” she asserted, urging leaders worldwide to denounce such acts and reaffirm their commitment to peace and security.
