Trump Urges EU to Impose Up to 100% Tariffs on India, China Over Russian Oil Purchases: Report

US President Donald Trump has called on the European Union (EU) to impose tariffs of up to 100 per cent on imports from India and China over their continued purchase of Russian crude oil, the Financial Times reported on Wednesday. 

According to the report, Trump has urged European leaders to consider coordinated trade measures aimed at dissuading New Delhi and Beijing from sourcing discounted oil from Moscow.
