Washington, DC: US President Donald Trump on Thursday hosted a high-level meeting with some of the world’s most prominent technology and business leaders at the White House, with discussions centering on artificial intelligence, innovation, and domestic investment.

Among the attendees were Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Apple’s Tim Cook, Google’s Sundar Pichai, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, philanthropist and former Microsoft chairman Bill Gates, and OpenAI’s Sam Altman. Several participants used the platform to announce new commitments aimed at boosting investment and innovation within the United States.

According to officials, the meeting underscored the administration’s focus on ensuring that the US remains at the forefront of technological advancement, particularly in artificial intelligence, which is seen as a key driver of future economic growth and competitiveness.

While the gathering highlighted collaboration between government and industry, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk was notably absent.
