Jerusalem: In a landmark address to the Israeli Parliament, US President Donald Trump delivered a powerful and assertive speech outlining his administration’s vision for peace and security in the Middle East, while also reaffirming America’s military resolve.

“If we go into a war, we are going to win it like nobody ever has won it before,” Trump declared, drawing loud applause from Israeli lawmakers. “We will not be politically correct,” he added, emphasizing his administration’s commitment to strength and decisive action.

In a separate segment of his address, Trump announced what he described as the end of a “long and difficult war,” calling it an “unprecedented achievement” in modern diplomacy. “Virtually the entire region has endorsed the plan that Gaza will be demilitarised and Hamas will be disarmed,” he said. “Israel’s security will not be threatened.”

Trump hailed the development as a turning point for regional stability, noting that cooperation between Israel and its Arab neighbours had reached levels “once thought impossible.” He credited diplomatic persistence and shared security interests for bringing the parties together.
