Trump Boasts of “Operation Midnight Hammer” in Knesset Address, Hails US Military Power

Jerusalem: In a strikingly candid and flamboyant address to the Israeli Knesset, US President Donald Trump spoke at length about America’s recent military operations, hailing the strength of US forces and describing the strike on Iran as a decisive show of power.

Referring to the mission as Operation Midnight Hammer, Trump called it “a great name for what we did,” praising the performance of the United States Air Force. “From our beautiful B2 bombers — they are pretty planes. I had no idea what they did,” he quipped, drawing laughter from some lawmakers.

The US President went on to boast about the scale of the operation. “We are going to have 28 more of a slightly updated version. A hundred other planes went with them, along with tanks — 52 big, beautiful, brand-new tanks,” he said. “We have a hell of a lot of planes,” Trump added, underscoring America’s military preparedness.

The remarks came during his official visit to Jerusalem, where Trump sought to reaffirm Washington’s steadfast support for Israel while celebrating what he described as a “new era of peace and strength” in the Middle East following recent operations against Iran.
