BY A STAFF REPORTER: At least 25 people have been killed and six injured when a minibus carrying tourists collided with a truck in Brazil's northeastern state of Bahia.
The accident occurred overnight on the federal road between the towns of Nova Fatima and Gaviao in inland Bahia, the state fire department said in a statement. The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital.
The Bahia Civil Police said most of the victims were in the minibus, adding that the cause of the accident was under investigation.
