As of 7 a.m. on Wednesday, 15 people had been killed and four missing in southwest China's Chongqing municipality after the latest heavy rains from Monday. Heavy rains have caused flooding and geological disasters, disrupting the lives of more than 130,000 people in 19 districts and counties.

The casualties were confirmed after a rain-related disaster warning was issued in central and southwestern China on Tuesday.
