Terror strikes Afghanisthan again

At least 11 people were killed when a bomb exploded  near Nabawi  mosque in Hesa e Awal area of Faizabad district in  Northern Afghanisthan on Thursday .

At least 11 people were killed when a bomb exploded  near Nabawi  mosque in Hesa e Awal area of Faizabad district in  Northern Afghanisthan on Thursday  during a memorial service for Talibans provincial deputy governor, who was killed in an attack earlier this week.

According to Abdul Nafi Takor, Taliban appointed spokesperson for interior ministry,  a former Taliban police official was killed and more than 30 were injured.  He has also said the number of casualties may rise. The attack also claimed the life of deputy governors driver. Safiullah Samim, a former Afghan police chief in Baghlan was also killed in the bomb explosion, according to Moazuddin Ahmadi, Afghan official in charge of communication and culture. Former president Hamid Karzai expressed his condolences and said bombing of mosque is against Human and Islamic standards and is an act of terrorism. No terrorist group  has claimed responsibility for the attack.
