By Ina Stašević, Zagreb, Croatia: Croatian opera singer mrs. Antonella Malis, who studied and got her master's degree in Italy in Rome, is highly respected and praised by the audience for her specifically nuanced voice.
The Croatian soprano has an exceptional career, she has been active on the international opera and music scene for 30 years. Mrs. Malis sang to Pope John Paul II. and Pope Benedict XVI.
She is not just a soprano. She is also an active humanitarian. In the Gavella theater in Zagreb/Croatia, she held a concert on March the 5th, combining tradition and modern music in an unforgettable evening, celebrating her golden anniversary in front of a large audience. With great joy, she donated part of the income from the concert to women who unfortunately lost their voice at birth or during their life due to illness (for example, throat cancer...). At the end of the evening, this vocal artist thanked the audience and said - "my voice is my best friend, my protector who is by my side even when I am completely alone".
