Soldiers capture 20 terrorists from hospital

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The IDF said soldiers captured 20 terrorists hiding in al-Amal hospital in Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Over the past week, the Givati Infantry Brigade, the Navy's Shayetet 13 Commando Unit and other special forces have been operating in the hospital area based on intelligence that Hamas premises are used.

The IDF said soldiers captured 20 terrorists, including Hamas members hiding in the hospital. They were brought to Israel for further questioning.

The IDF said the operation was carried out in coordination with hospital staff.

It said soldiers searched the premises "accurately and selectively" without firing to avoid disrupting hospital operations.
