Ljubljana, Slovenia: In a warm affirmation of regional solidarity and cultural admiration, Aswin Kumar Shrestha, Consul General of Nepal in Slovenia, expressed strong support for India during a meeting with an all-party Indian parliamentary delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi.
“We are with India,” Shrestha said during the interaction, lauding the deep cultural ties and admiration that Slovenian citizens have for the Indian subcontinent. “Slovenians love Kashmir very much and, of course, India. It is a magnificent country with a rich culture.”
The Consul General highlighted that Kashmir, Ladakh, and the entire Indian landscape have captured the imagination of the Slovenian people, adding that the President of Slovenia has already expressed support for India on the international stage.
