Sixteen Nigerian Soldiers Killed in Community Clashes

BY A STAFF REPORTER: In Nigeria's oil-producing southern Delta state, 16 Nigerian soldiers were surrounded and killed after trying to quell the conflict.

Brigadier General Tukur Gusou said in a statement that soldiers of the 181 amphibious battalion were killed in clashes between the Okuoma community on Thursday. '
