New Delhi: Singapore President Tharman Shanmugaratnam arrived in India on Monday for a five-day state visit aimed at strengthening ties between the two nations. This marks Shanmugaratnam's first visit to India since assuming office as Singapore’s president.

During his stay, President Shanmugaratnam is scheduled to hold key discussions with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
