Singapore’s Finance Minister Lawrence Wong arrived in New Delhi on Tuesday for the third edition of the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable (ISMR), scheduled to be held on August 13. The meeting will bring together senior leaders and officials from both nations to discuss ways to deepen collaboration across multiple sectors.
The ISMR has evolved into a crucial platform for advancing strategic and economic ties between India and Singapore. It focuses not only on traditional areas such as trade, investment, and infrastructure but also on emerging domains including digital innovation, green energy, and sustainable development.
The discussions are expected to review progress on ongoing initiatives, identify new opportunities for partnership, and address regional and global economic challenges. Both sides have underscored the importance of leveraging the platform to create a more resilient and future-ready bilateral relationship.
