Several Hamas fighters killed in battles across Gaza

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The IDF said troops continued to kill Hamas members in Khan Younis in southern Gaza as well as in the central part of the valley.

The IDF said soldiers from the 646th Reserve Paratroopers Brigade serving Khan Younis spotted the RPG-wielding Hamas and another operative with it in a building and called for air strikes.

In the western province of Khan Younis, the IDF said commando brigade soldiers had detected several tunnel shafts, killed several Hamas gunmen and raided "important" locations of the terrorist group.

The IDF also targeted a four-member Hamas cell that planned a surprise attack on troops in Khan Younis.
