Russian missiles kill one and wound four in air strike on Ukraine

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Russian warplanes fired 19 long-range missiles at Ukrainian targets on Friday morning, killing one civilian, wounding four others and damaging an industrial factory in central the region. Russia has launched its first major missile attacks on targets in Ukraine, including the capital, in weeks. Russia has been mainly using drones for overnight attacks in recent weeks.

Dnipropetrovsk regional governor Serhiy Lisak said: "Unfortunately, one person died as a result of the attack. Initially, four people were injured. All the injured are in the hospital. Both are in critical condition. " 

Air Force spokesman Yuri Ihnat said in a statement that 14 missiles were shot down outside Kyiv and in the central Dnipropetrovsk region. '
