Russia launches major drone attack on Ukraine

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Russia has carried out drone strikes on infrastructure installations in southern and northern Ukraine. Ukraine's air defense forces reportedly shot down 29 of the 38 Iranian-made Shahed drones launched from Russian territory.

The air force said in a statement that the strikes took place between 8 pm local time on Friday and 4 am on Saturday in different parts of Ukraine.
