Russia hits port infrastructure in Odesa

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Russian forces attacked port infrastructure in the southern Ukrainian city of Odessa on Tuesday evening, the regional governor said.

Russia, which invaded Ukraine in February 2022, has stepped up attacks on port infrastructure on the Danube River and the Black Sea after it withdrew in July from a UN-brokered agreement guaranteeing safe shipments of Ukrainian grains.

"The attackers hit Odessa's port infrastructure," Odessa Governor Oleh Kiper said. No one was injured. " 

The Southern Military Command said Russia used the X-31 missile.
