London, UK — BJP MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, who is leading an all-party Indian parliamentary delegation across Europe, concluded a key leg of the visit in the United Kingdom, where the team engaged with senior UK political leaders, lawmakers, and think tanks. The delegation’s outreach emphasized India’s evolving global role, particularly in counter-terrorism, diplomacy, and parliamentary cooperation.
Speaking from the historic India House in London, Prasad remarked, “With a wonderful visit to Great Britain, this morning we met the Speaker. Yesterday, we met the Chairman of the Conservative Party, Priti Patel — the UK Shadow Foreign Secretary. Today, we are going to meet friends of India across the Parliament.”

Prasad noted that the meetings were productive, stating, “Our message was understood loud and clear, and they appreciated the need that the world needs to come together.” He also praised the decision to send Indian MPs to engage globally, calling it “extraordinary,” and highlighted the Speaker’s call for greater inter-parliamentary dialogue.
The delegation spotlighted Operation Sindoor, branding it as a defining moment in India's counter-terrorism policy. The UK engagements included high-level discussions with members of both Houses of Parliament and members of India friendship groups.
