Delhi: Speaking at the 3rd India-Japan 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh underscored the strengthening bilateral relations between India and Japan, particularly in the defence sector. Singh noted that defence has become a critical pillar in the partnership between the two nations.
He reiterated India’s commitment to becoming a developed nation by 2047, marking 100 years of independence. Singh emphasized that enhancing domestic defence capabilities is a key aspect of this vision, and collaboration with Japan in defence technology and industry will be instrumental in achieving this goal.
