Delhi: Member of Parliament from Frankfurt, Rahul Kumar Kamboj, has underlined the growing scope for India and Germany to deepen collaboration across sectors, particularly in education, digital payments, and cross-border investment. During his visit to India, he expressed his intention to strengthen diplomatic and grassroots connections that can lead to mutual growth.

“I am here to build diplomatic relations in many fields where people from both countries can work together for a win-win situation,” Kamboj said. Citing Frankfurt’s diverse demographic profile — with over 60–65% migrants in the state — he noted the potential for India to tap into this diversity through education-driven initiatives. “Possibilities are open and we in India should know how to crack it through education,” he added.

Kamboj also praised India’s advancements in digital payments. “It is one of the safest and efficient ways, and I will try to implement it in my state as well,” he said. He revealed that efforts are underway in collaboration with the German Parliament to push for digital project implementation in Germany.

The parliamentarian highlighted efforts to establish a platform enabling easier collaboration between the people of India and Germany across sectors such as education, trade, and technology. He said he is in active contact with the governments of Haryana and Uttarakhand to explore partnerships and investment opportunities. “The CM of Haryana is offering a great opportunity for the people to collaborate on common projects with Germany,” Kamboj said, adding that similar discussions are ongoing in Uttarakhand.

Commenting on the recent 25% tariff imposed by the United States on Indian goods, Kamboj remained optimistic. “When a door closes, another one opens. I am here for the same concept. Germany is open for possibilities for India,” he stated, encouraging Indian stakeholders to look at Europe as a strategic and long-term partner.
