"The 86-year-old pope will attend the indoor Good Friday ceremony at St. Peter's Basilica," Matteo Bruni said. This is the first time since his election in 2013 that the pope will not preside over the Via Crucience ceremony at rome's Colosseum. It is learnt that he will follow it up from his residence.
