Brunei: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the new Chancery premises of the High Commission of India in Brunei. During the event, he also took the opportunity to interact with members of the Indian community who were present for the inauguration.
Prime Minister Modi expressed his appreciation for the Indian community in Brunei, acknowledging their role as a "living bridge" between the two countries. He commended their efforts in fostering strong bilateral ties and enhancing the relationship between India and Brunei.
According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), PM Modi's visit and interaction highlight the importance of the Indian diaspora in building and strengthening international relations. The inauguration of the new Chancery premises is expected to further bolster India's diplomatic presence and facilitate deeper engagement with the Bruneian government and its people.
