Paris, France: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Paris on an official visit to France, where he is co-chairing the AI Action Summit and participating in several high-profile bilateral engagements. The visit comes at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, reinforcing the strong diplomatic ties between India and France.
Speaking on the visit, MEA Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri stated, “Prime Minister’s first engagement yesterday was a dinner hosted by President Macron in honor of the visiting heads of state, government leaders, and international tech entrepreneurs participating in the AI summit.”
On the sidelines of the summit, PM Modi held a crucial bilateral meeting with Estonian President Alar Karis, marking the first-ever meeting between the two leaders. “Both expressed satisfaction at the growing bilateral cooperation in several fields,” Misri added.
