Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and United Kingdom Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday attended the reconstituted India-UK CEOs Forum in Mumbai, aimed at advancing innovation-led growth and economic cooperation between the two nations.
In a post on X, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said, “🇮🇳-🇬🇧 | For shared growth and innovation-led economic progress! PM @narendramodi and PM @Keir_Starmer attended the reconstituted India-UK CEOs Forum in Mumbai today.”
He described the forum as a “strong convening platform” bringing together top business leaders from both countries to explore new opportunities, enhance trade and investment partnerships, and support innovation-driven development.
Jaiswal added that the discussions focused on strengthening economic ties through policy reforms and collaborative ventures, with an emphasis on generating growth, employment, and improving the ease of living for citizens in both countries.
