New Delhi: Speaking on the recent Israel-Gaza ceasefire, Chargé d’Affaires of the Palestinian Embassy in India, Abed Elrazeg Abu Jazer, called for global humanitarian assistance and highlighted the crucial role of India in Gaza's reconstruction.

"Humanitarian assistance is for everyone," said Abu Jazer, stressing the need for global unity in aiding those affected by the conflict. He further expressed hope that all nations would contribute to the humanitarian effort, ensuring aid reaches everyone in need.

On the long-term rebuilding of Gaza, Abu Jazer specifically sought India’s partnership in establishing permanent infrastructure. "We are looking at full support from India in permanent projects like hospitals and schools," he said. This appeal underscores the importance of sustainable development in Gaza, which has faced significant devastation during the conflict.
