Oppenheimer Bags Seven Awards At Oscar's 2024

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Oppenheimer, the biopic of J. Robert Oppenheimer, clinched seven Oscars at the 96th Academy Awards while Poor Things took four awards at the 96th Academy Awards held in Los Angeles, California on 11th March, Monday.

Released in July 2023, Oppenheimer bagged the Best Film Award. Moreover, Oppenheimer's Director, Christopher Nolan won the Best Director award while the lead actor, who played J. Robert Oppenheimer, Cillian Murphy bagged the Best Actor award. Along with this Robert Downey Jr. Won the Best Supporting Actor award. Furthermore, the film took the Best Cinematography, Original Score, and Best Film Editing awards

Poor Things' Emma Stone won the Best Actress award while the film bagged the best costume design, production design, and makeup & hairstyling. 

Billie Eilish and Finneas O'Connell won the Academy Award for the Best Original Song Barbie's What Was I Made for. 

Earlier in the year, Oppenheimer excelled with five wins at the Golden Globe Awards held on 4th February in California, USA.
