Officer killed fighting in gaza

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The IDF said Major (retd) Amisher Ben David was killed during fighting in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, bringing the number of soldiers killed in ground operations against Hamas to 248.

Ben David, 43, was the head of the Commando Brigade's Forward Command Team. He was a resident of the settlement of Ely in the West Bank.
