Odisha CM Assures Nepal Officials of Strict Action in KITT University Incident

Bhubaneswar: Senior officials from the Nepal Embassy, Naveen Raj Adhikari and Sanjeev Sharma Das, met Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at Lok Seva Bhavan to discuss the recent KITT University incident. The meeting followed Majhi’s telephonic conversation with Nepal’s Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba, where he had assured swift action.

During the discussions, CM Majhi informed the Nepalese officials that 10 individuals have been arrested in connection with the incident. He further assured that all those responsible would face strict legal action and that the Odisha government was committed to ensuring justice.

Majhi also emphasized that necessary measures have been taken to restore the educational atmosphere at KITT University and to ensure the safety of all students, including those from Nepal.
