María Corina Machado, Venezuelan opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner, expressed her gratitude and first reactions on social media platform X following the announcement of her award.
In her post, Machado emphasized that the recognition represents the struggle of all Venezuelans seeking freedom and democracy. “This recognition of the struggle of all Venezuelans is a boost to conclude our task: to conquer Freedom. We are on the threshold of victory,” she wrote.
She highlighted the importance of international support, specifically mentioning the people of the United States, President Donald Trump, the peoples of Latin America, and other democratic nations worldwide as key allies in Venezuela’s pursuit of democratic governance.
