BY A STAFF REPORTER: A member of Panama's national football team was chatting with friends in front of his mother's residence when gunmen in a taxi shot and killed Gilberto Hernandez and wounded seven others in the country's violent port city of Cologne, police and witnesses said. Hernandez, a 26-year-old defender, was the second member of the national team to be killed in Cologne in the past six years. Authorities have announced the arrest of a suspect in the killing.
